With Open Hands Pt. 7 – Stewarding Our Words
We continue the series with Open Hands with the message, “With Open Hands: Stewarding Our Words”, we explore how our speech is one of the most powerful forms of stewardship God has entrusted to us. Scripture reminds us that “life and death are in the power of the tongue,” and Paul calls us to use our words as instruments of grace, building others up according to their need and giving grace to those who hear. Living open-handed with our words means surrendering even our tone, timing, and truth to the Spirit’s guidance, so that every conversation reflects the presence of Christ. When we speak with sacred intention, our influence becomes a channel for hope, healing, and unity, shaping a community that sounds more like Jesus: full of grace, truth, mercy, and love.
